SuperNationals VI: Mother's Day Weekend
May 12-14, 2017
SuperNationals VI, open to anyone in grades K-12, is the most exciting Scholastic Tournament of the school year and it’s coming soon. Make your plans to attend now while registration is still only $50. With 25 different sections, there’s one that’s right for any of our players, even if yet unrated. With so many Team Trophies, there’s a good chance your team could bring home a National trophy for your school.
Hotels are filling up so you’ll want to book soon. Besides the Gaylord Opryland and the Inn at Opryland which may have intermittent rooms available due to cancellations, there are quite a few hotels in the vicinity.
For further details and online registration, go to USChess.org.
Once again, Championship Chess is excited to offer a Players’ Room on site.
In Ryman Ballroom B, our players can get game review and prep from top Championship Chess coaches and families have a quiet place to wait between rounds and meet their players after games. Family pricing is $30/day or $75 for the 3-day weekend. Due to space limitations, first come, first served. Between rounds, tables will be reserved for chess play and analysis only. Get your school team on board early.
Working with coaches in the Players’ Room gets big results.
For players at the lower levels, their scores usually increase by at least 1 point. At the upper levels, scores usually increase at least 1/2 point.
