Online in the World of Chess
Welcome to the Championship Chess World of Chess:
Online Curriculum and Classes Now for Schools
THE WORLD OF CHESS
Here students learn and improve chess play as they follow the route to the King’s Castle. With videos, activities, puzzles and more they learn and reinforce chess concepts. Then, they take the challenge to earn Achievement Cards.
Whether a beginner who is just learning about each piece, a player who wants to learn more Opening and Endgame strategies, or a tournament winner who needs focus and support, everyone travels through the World of Chess and finds it challenging and rewarding.
Our chess concepts link to the Standards and provide a diverse range of programming that enrich learning experiences, promote academic skills and support positive emotional, social and cognitive development.
TAKE A WALK THROUGH THE WORLD OF CHESS.
ONLINE CLASSES
And, NEW for this unusual school year, we will provide online live and streaming video lessons that integrate with the World of Chess curriculum. We presented these classes throughout the spring and summer with great results.
Along with these classes we provide a monitored area for online student vs student play. Training Games in the WOC provide practice in the strategies taught. This allows students to play online, and it is structured play not random play. These games can be sent to the designated Afterschool Administrator or teacher, the students’ parents and our coaches, who can offer game review/analysis, providing personal instruction for students.
Whether you’re using chess with ten students or hundreds, the World of Chess introduces concepts, evaluates skills, tracks student progress and develops winning school teams. Contact info@championshipchess.net to learn how easy and inexpensive chess can be for your school.
